Hope is...Stand in the Gap

September’s 8 Hope Highlights

By October 3, 2022No Comments

In an increasingly unstable world,

hope is still the most important thing.

This month, we are sharing some of our “hope highlights” from the last 4 weeks.
May these short stories bring you hope.

Welcome, Morgin!

Say hello to our newest Life Launch young adult Morgin! She is so sweet and is starting college at Clary Sage this month 👏

Will you join us in prayer for her as she starts this new journey both at Clary Sage and with her Stand in the Gap Life Launch team?

Her Stand in the Gap small group will support her through this next year of life!

We love you, Morgin, and are believing in SO MANY GOOD THINGS for you this year 💜

Welcome, Alyssa!

New Women in Transition team launch in Western Oklahoma! Join us as we welcome Alyssa to our program 👏 👏 👏

Alyssa and her small group of volunteers went to dinner as they start their 12-month journey together.

This team shared with us just how excited they are to get started 💜

Alyssa, we are so grateful God sent you to us. Janice, Susan, Ashlea, we are so grateful you are allowing God to use your love and wisdom in this way.

God's Fullness

We couldn't have said it better ourselves... this screenshot of a Facebook post by one of our Women In Transition small groups says it all 💜

Our program model is all about the relationships that make us better 💜 We love seeing both our volunteers and participants experience the fullness of God's work.

Better Together

Park Plaza Christian Church in Joplin, Missouri is doing a wonderful job of reaching the widows in their church and community through their widows ministry, Women Of Hope.
If you know someone in the area, click the link below and reach out to learn more about this ministry or to learn how to start one in your own area and join the “no widow alone network.”

Criminal Justice Reform

Criminal Justice Reform is a big part of the conversation for our Women in Transition program.

Here our Program Manager Kathy and program graduate Kolene attend an informational lunch to stay up to date with local and state services.

Learn more about hope.
