In an increasingly unstable world,
hope is still the most important thing.
This month, we are sharing some of our “hope highlights” from the last 4 weeks.
May these short stories bring you hope.
True Freedom!
Michelle and Shaunte are back at Eddie Warrior Correctional facility. This time, they are volunteers.
Shaunte has been facilitating our Women in Transition class there for a while, but this was Michelle's first time back. Shaunte says, "9 years ago, Michelle left EWCC. Today, she only looks back to share how she is about to graduate with her Master's, she has meaningful work, and she is an excellent mother to her son. She is intentional in her praise to God and has maintained relationships with all her Stand in the Gap mentors. Her story is crazy amazing."
What a joy it is to celebrate true freedom with these women who have turned to God and overcome so much!

What Kim Learned...
At what point in your life did you start to see yourself as a person of worth? For many of the women we serve in Women in Transition, that moment comes way too late. But it is our privilege to be there when they start to believe it.
Kim took our Women in Transition class at Women's Firstep. She graduated the class, but keeps coming back. Click her photo to watch and find out why...
