Celebrating Each Other
The annual Lemonade & Laughter event is an evening of joy
For the 5th year, Stand in the Gap for Widows church partner, Asbury United Methodist Church, hosted a joyful evening celebration of life. 300 widows from many churches came together to hear the music of "The Belonging" and fellowship together.
Thanks to Asbury United Methodist Church, the 60 volunteers who served, and Balcony Women for making this lovely evening happen.
Guests heard from Jackie Green and Lauren Green McAfee, authors of "How a Woman's Everyday Life Shapes an Eternal Legacy", enjoyed a delicious dinner (served to them at their tables), and received some excellent door prizes! Events like this happen because Stand in the Gap for Widows staff pursue partnerships with churches. Your investment in Stand in the Gap makes more of these partnerships possible!
