In an increasingly unstable world,
hope is still the most important thing.
This month, we are sharing some of our “hope highlights” from the last 4 weeks.
May these short stories bring you hope.
God at work on the inside
Chelsie is teaching alongside SITGM WIT Program Manager Kathy inside Oklahoma County Detention Center.
These women are addressing issues such as anger management, co dependency and addiction.
Chelsie is a Women in Transition curriculum graduate. This means, while serving time in Oklahoma county, Chelsie attended classes just like these, taught by Kathy and other SITGM WIT volunteers.
Now, Chelsie has been set free, both spiritually and physically. And is back inside, but this time, encouraging other women.
"I am extremely grateful to spend time with those women," Chelsie says. "It's a huge blessing for me to step back into that building and get to remember how far God has brought me."

The Stand in the Gap mentors are all repeat volunteers. We are believing for BIG things for Sarah and her team in the next 12 months. Welcome to Stand in the Gap Ministries, Sarah!
Reunification

God Sighting
During a monthly Women in Transition meeting where our staff meets in the middle, between Tulsa and Oklahoma City, God blessed us in Stroud, Oklahoma...
Our server: “Is your name Kathy Peacock? Did you teach Women in Transition at Mabel Bassett?"
Kathy: "Yes"
Our server: “I attended your class, and I am doing very well now. I am about to be a manager of this restaurant!”
This my friends is what we, at Stand in the Gap, call a God Sighting. A moment in our day when we SEE God working around us.
