In an increasingly unstable world,
hope is still the most important thing.
This month, we are sharing some of our “hope highlights” from the last 4 weeks.
May these short stories bring you hope.
Newfound Independence
Barrett's Life Launch team was by his side when he got his new car! They helped him through the process of getting his tag and title. Thanks to his new set of wheels, Barrett can drive himself to his job without needing to rely on housemates. Our Program Manager, Alicia Keathley, says "He's been working to get a car for a while now and was so excited." A big step for Barrett (and a trend for November, as you'll notice)!
"2020 hasn't been all bad!"
Our Board member, Denise Lopez, posted a sweet tribute to her new Stand in the Gap neighbor, Lisa, on Facebook. She shared some of Lisa’s history and celebrated her bright future. Our favorite takeaway? “Ron, Corrie, Carl and I get the privilege to call her friend. 2020 you will forever be the year we met Lisa. It’s been a good year.” Click to read her full post.
