It’s hard to know what to say. When a woman loses her husband, her family and friends usually show up. They make frozen meals. They send a beautiful bouquet. They attend the funeral. But a little while later, they are ready to move on.
When people don’t know what to say, often they don’t say anything at all. Weeks and months later, it starts to get really quiet.
